College of Mount St. Joseph senior 157-pounder Bryan Massong (Cincinnat, OH/Oak Hills) represented the Lions on Friday in the NCAA Division III National Championships held in Cedar Rapids, IA. Massong lost in the first round to Jesse Milks (UW Platteville), 9-1; and then dropped a match to Justin Skillings (St. Olaf), 9-5. Massong finished the season with a 30-7 record.

College of Mount St. Joseph senior defensive back Cory Hardin (Fairborn, OH/Fairborn) will be honored by the National Football Foundation (NFF) as the Greater Cincinnati Chapter’s 2009-2010 Courage Award winner.

Mount senior teammate Anthony Walsh (Cincinnati, OH/Moeller), an offensive lineman, was selected for an NFF Scholar Athlete Award. Both players will be presented their awards at the scholar-athlete dinner at the Cincinnati Hilton Netherland Plaza on Feb. 18.
